It is good to be back home. Last Saturday we flew to Baltimore and then drove two more hours north to West Chester, Pennsylvania to spend a few days with April’s parents. We had a great couple of days with them and watched our nephew Joseph graduate from high school. We visited two different churches on Sunday. I still think there is no church like Bible Baptist Church.
On Monday morning we left West Chester and drove a couple of hours north to New York City. Autumn turns 16 this month and has wanted to go to the “Big Apple.” We spent three days there visiting the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, Broadway, Chinatown, the World Trade Center sight, etc. What a great sea of people! May I also say that this is a spiritually needy area. The large metropolitan cities of our world have become vast areas in such a great need of gospel preaching churches. Let’s make this a matter of prayer that God will send forth laborers into the harvest.
We left New York City and headed to my parents house in Westminster, Maryland. It was good to stay with them and see my brother and his family. On Friday evening my parents took all of us to one of my favorite restaurants, Hickory Bridge. This restaurant has the best crab imperial I have ever had. Don’t worry about how much I ate, I was on vacation. Even though we had such a great time, it is good to be home. I cannot wait to preach today
.
Be sure to pray for our baseball camp each day this week. It will be a great week. It is good to see you today.
